Our team of One Great River Health Trekkers are preparing to leave for a one week trip to Bozeman, Montana. This is hopefully the beginning of many trips into nature for these great kids and adults.
Among activities for the week there will be rock climbing in Paradise Valley and Big Sky, fly fishing on the Madison River, a long day of hiking, a community service day hosted by our trekkers for local youth, visits with local artists and outdoor enthusiasts and even a trip to the hot springs.
This trip is the culmination of training through out the Spring season and for some the last two seasons. Our trekkers have gone through educational programming for living in healthful ways such as relaxation, nutrition, and physical activity as well as hands on training in biking, hiking, kayaking, and climbing.
You can help offset the cost of the trip for our youth by making a donation here. We would also like to thank the Ross Lynn Foundation for their partnership in making this dream trip a reality.
